Dogs who've spent two Christmases in shelters are writing letters to Santa in an effort to find their forever home.
According to the Daily Mail, the RSPCA is trying to find homes for dogs who have had a tougher time getting adopted by helping them write letters to Santa...and posting the letters on social media for everyone to fall in love with them.
If you're planning on adopting for the holidays, please make sure you think it through carefully and are ready to bring a pet into your home. A lot of pets end up back in shelters because families get wound up with excitement around the holidays and don't realize or are prepared for the amount of responsibility that comes with owning a dog. Adopt, don't shop...but also adopt responsibly.
