Trick-Or-Treaters Should Avoid These Twin Cities Homes

On a night as spooky as Halloween, the last thing we want to do is put our children in real danger.

The sad reality of today's world is that we can never be so sure as to who our children are interacting with. Fortunately, there are certain precautions parents can take when sending their kids out to go trick-or-treating (or simply just playing in the neighborhood).

Hopefully you go along with your little ones. Even if your kids are a bit older (plenty of teens still go candy hunting), you'll want to be aware of the homes that house registered sex offenders and other predatory people.

City-Data.com has an interactive map (and lots of information) showing exactly where sex offenders live, what they look like, what they were charged for, etc. It's very good information to look into if you had no clue who's really living in your neighborhood.

Obviously the screenshot I took and shared here is of Minneapolis, but City-Data.com lets you search whatever city you need to to keep your kids safe.
