I feel like this was a fever dream of mine when I was a kid but now it has become a reality. Right now, you can purchase a drone with a flamethrower. People really love utilizing drones, don't we? First we had them deliver packages and now were giving them flamethrowers. According to The Verge.com, The Throwflame TF-19 Wasp, is a functional flamethrower attachment for commercial-grade for heavy lift drones that can hit targets up to 25 feet away, with a one-gallon fuel tank that can produce a stream of fire for 100 seconds. Probably not safe, but it sounds fun!
Keep in mind, the flamethrower itself is listed at $1,499. The company told the press that that its video features a DJI S1000 drone with an A2 flight controller, battery and a TBS Tango R/C remote, which could easily add another $2,600 to the cost. All the attachments are on sale today, July 18th. Now, if I can just convince my girlfriend that we need one of these....
