It seems John Krasinski has announced that the follow-up to 2018's hit horror movie is currently being shot right now in upstate New York. Big news if you were a fan of the first one. I personally loved it. If you remember, the plot revolved around a family struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind extraterrestrial creatures with an acute sense of hearing. In other words, don't make a noise or the aliens will kill you. It really made for an intense film but a fun one. The film stared Krasinski himself alongside his real life wife, Emily Blunt, and Millicent Simmonds.
It seems the next one will take a similar approach as it follows the family once again as they fight for survival. A Quiet Place 2 will be released on March 20th, 2020.
