The suspect arrested in the abduction of Jayme Closs and murder of her parents has been identified as 21-year-old Jake Patterson.
According to the Journal Sentinel, Patterson was identified Friday by neighbors who lived in the same complex in Gordon, Wisconsin, where Jayme Closs has been hidden away after being kidnapped back in October.
Jayme approached a neighbor walking her dog on Thursday afternoon, and a short time later Patterson was arrested when authorities swarmed the neighborhood of about 20 small homes.
Patterson is being held in Barron County pending charges of first degree murder and kidnapping. Charges are not expected to be filed until next week, however.
Gordon is about 40 miles south of Lake Superior and about 65 miles north of Barron, Closs' hometown, the Journal Sentinel reports.
