Ice Castles is coming to a different location in Minnesota this year, but don't worry...it will not disappoint.
In an Instagram post, Ice Castles announced its Minnesota location is moving to The Commons in Excelsior. Opening dates have not been set, but according to its website Ice Castles opens in late December or early January depending on weather, and stays open for as long as our ice cold weather allows.
I'd highly recommend wearing long underwear, two coats, two pairs of gloves, and a heated space suit just to survive. Otherwise setting your bare hands on the metal fire pit covers to feel anything again after sledding through ice tunnels is what you'll be doing.
General admission for children and adults ages 12+ starts at $10.95 online and $7.95 for kids ages 4-11. Walkup ticket prices cost a little more, and so do weekend ticket prices. Get more info about admission here.
