Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey has already come out and said she wished Cersei Lannister had experienced "a better death," telling the Guardian she was "kind of gutted" by her character's demise under a pile of falling rocks. However, part of her "wanted her to have some big piece or fight with somebody." Now, Headey offered another tidbit about her character. They shot a miscarriage scene for the penultimate episode that got left on the cutting-room floor.
"It was a really traumatic, great moment for Cersei," she says. "I kind of loved doing that because I thought it would've served her differently. ... We can't say it isn't interesting to at least think about how that moment may have changed things."
