Two Minnesota Kids Headed For Food Network Baking Competition

Posted by: @mdanielsradio

Two local kids are the latest from the land of 10,000 lakes to appear on the Food Network. The two are set to appear on the new season of “Kids Baking Championship,” a Food Network competition for the elementary school set. Meadow Roberts, 10, from Minneapolis and Paige Goehner, 11, from Blaine will go toe-to-toe with 10 other pastry chefs from around the country.

Meadow – Minneapolis, MN

Besides baking, Meadow loves gymnastic, dance and theater. If she wins the money, she wants to buy a teal stand mixer because she thinks that color will make things taste better.

Paige – Blaine, MN

If Paige wins, she wants to donate some of the money to the Arthritis Foundation because she has juvenile arthritis. She got into baking because her arthritis forced her to stop dancing and baking was easier for her, plus being able to eat dessert is the best!

The show premieres on Monday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m., and runs through March 11, when the winner of a $25,000 prize is revealed.
