New York Times To America: "Be More Like The Twin Cities"

Posted by: @mdanielsradio

Minneapolis and St. Paul are being praised right now by the New York Times for our public park systems. Pretty cool right?! Published in the NY Times on Monday, the Piece, The Secret to Good Health May be a Walk in the Park points out how the Twin Cities has the best access to public parks and recreation areas out of any major metro in the country.

We've always placed very well in the rankings of our public parks, after all 96 percent of people living in Minneapolis and 98 percent in St. Paul live within a 10-minute walk of a park.

In the article, the author Jane Brody states, "Minneapolis was then, and still is, a slice of heaven for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors."

You know, I just might have to agree with you.
