Colorado Experiences All Four Seasons In One Day... IN JUNE!

Sunday, June 24th brought just about everything to parts of Colorado; hail, snow, damaging winds, and funnel clouds. They are certainly no strangers however to massive and drastic weather changes and I think we Minnesotans can relate. A low-pressure system moved through the state and interacted with a moist atmosphere. Bringing with it instances of Heavy rain leading to the flooding of some roads in Denver several news stations reported. There was accumulation of hail on streets, sidewalks and lawns in portions of the city and late Sunday afternoon, severe thunderstorms produced damaging winds in eastern Colorado, where gusts up to 66-mph were reported at Kit Carson County Airport.

While no tornadoes were reported in the state Sunday, there were a number of observed funnel clouds.

As if mother nature hadn't had enough, it was also cold enough for snow to accumulate up in the Rockies!
