Okay, first off...yes... we've all been there. We get a big juicy delicious burger in front of our face and that first bite squeezes ketchup out the other side and right on to our pants... ugh... obviously ketchup in slices would eliminate that issue. But, have you heard the saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it?" Well, this is what they're talking about. Sliced ketchup is just one of those things that shouldn't happen.
And much of the initial test groups agree, “I just discovered something called a ketchup slice and it’s an absolute abomination. A crime. Just don’t do it,” Twitter user Ari Shapiro wrote. “I don’t want a ketchup fruit roll-up or anything that resembles a processed slice of ketchup. If someone I know is using this new product, I will disown them in public.”
But Los Angeles based food-entrepreneur Emily Williams says, “The slice is going to revolutionize the way that we sauce,” Williams says of the portable ketchup slices in the video promoting the campaign. “But it’s also all-natural, no preservatives. This flavor is the real deal.”
I'm not convinced, just watch for yourself
