A swarm of bees is to blame for a delay in the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers game yesterday. The start of the matchup was delayed after bees set up house at the top of the protective netting directly behind home plate in Phoenix. A beekeeper came out and took care of the incident, with first pitch pushed back a few hours. Beekeeper Matt Hilton was also given the honor of throwing out the first pitch. He then said “Minor leagues to the big leagues now. It’s pretty cool.”
