Woman's Eyeball "Explodes" After Being Hit With Golf Ball at Ryder Cup

Corine Remande, 49, was hit in the face by a ball shot by American golfer Brooks Koepka at the Ryder Cup

Remande said that the ball caused such damage that she has lost sight in her right eye. A scan showed that Remande's right eye-socket is fractured and that her eyeball suffered an "explosion," according to the BBC.

Remande is now considering taking legal action. According to Remande, the organizers did not contact her since the incident. Remande also said there was "no warning shout from the course official when the ball was heading towards the crowd."
