My wife and I only have one car, so this morning, my wife needed to use the car so I decided to grab a Lyft to work.
I called the Lyft and the driver accepted, and was in Minnetonka, giving me an estimate of about 10 minutes for him to reach me.
That's when I noticed something weird, he started driving in circles instead of coming to me. Now, I've heard that if Lyft and Uber drivers don't want a customer, they can drive slow, or drive the other direction in the hopes that the rider will cancel the ride. However, I chatted with my wife and decided that she would grab a Lyft since the driver was taking a long time.
I decided to see how far he would go. He started driving towards Edina, then drove in circles, then started driving the opposite direction towards Uptown.
He then started driving South, until he got the the airport, and then CANCELLED my ride.

UPDATE: Lyft reached out to me and said it was a "technical issue" and that the driver never recieved my request. I'm definitely skeptical. He drove is circles once he received my request and then went on a bizarre stretch of highways to get away from picking me up...
