Prince's doctor was concerned about the singer's ailing health in the days before he died, texts between him and a friend have revealed.
Dr. Michael Schulenberg warned Kirk Johnson, a bodyguard and longtime pal of Prince, that 'he doesn't look well' after examining the singer in April 2016.
Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park mansion a couple of weeks later from an accidental overdose. He was just 57.
Hours later, Johnson texted back asking how everything went to which Schulenberg said that Prince had no complications from the treatment but 'just doesn't look really well.'
'As you have known him longer you can tell that better than me.' He offered to perform 'some lab testing at a future date.'
The messages indicate Schulenberg treated Prince at least one more time before his death.
Surveillance footage also reveals that Prince went to Schulenberg's clinic the day before he died.
