Pumpkin Nights is my New Favorite Family Tradition

Last night, my family and I went to a sneak-peek evening at the MN State Fairgrounds for Pumpkin Nights. It's their second year putting on this event, but it was our first experience there.

And, can I just say, It. Was. Awesome.

You know those drives you can take around the holidays, where they've got all the elaborate Christmas decorations and light up? Well, this is a Halloween-themed, walk-through Pumpkin bonanza for the whole family.

I don't normally think of Halloween as being an artistic or beautiful holiday, but MAN! they dazzled me!

It's not scary, in case you're wondering for the little ones. But there's plenty to see and do (face painting, balloon animals, a kid's corn maze, etc), and concessions for everyone (including beer for the grown ups).

If you have a chance, do yourself a favor and go to Pumpkin Nights at the MN State Fairgrounds.
