4 Ways Keri Spent Her Fourth of July

Oh man, a 4-day holiday is just what the doctor ordered! And, while most were high-tailing it up to the cabin, or spending their weekend on a lake, I was content to stay close to home and simply do the things that made me happy.

Here's how I spent my 4th of July in 4 pictures:

My dogs. You only see our Rottweiler puppy here, but we all spent a lot of time outside, running around the park, and soaking in the good weather.

Pampering. I needed it. More specifically-my feet needed it.

I have desperately wanted to go try the new plant-based restaurant in St Paul, J. Selby's, since it opened. But I was never able to make it work until now. It was glorious! Being able to walk into a restaurant and be free to order anything I like...well, as a vegan, that's something that doesn't happen too often. So I was thrilled. (And it was delicious. Even my carnivorous husband liked it!)

Finally, we threw a big 4th of July party. Complete with a three-legged race, face-painting, and of course, plenty of food.

I hope you had a memorable and happy holiday, too!
