Cities Gives Back Partner - American Parkinson’s Disease Association

For over 30 years, Cities 97.1 has been dedicated to helping Local MN Charities and it’s no different in 2022.

This month as part of Cities Gives Back, we recognize the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) Minnesota Chapter. More than 18,000 Minnesotans are living with Parkinson’s Disease and that number is growing (there’s a new diagnosis of PD every nine minutes!) The APDA Minnesota Chapter is working tirelessly every day to help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s Disease live life to the fullest in the face of this chronic, neurological disorder. From educational programs and exercise classes to financial assistance and support groups, APDA Minnesota is here to help. Visit or call 651-356-4378 to learn more.

Did you know every 9 minutes someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and there are approximately 18,000 people in Minnesota who are living with PD, and that number is growing! The APDA Minnesota Chapter is here to help everyone with PD live life to the fullest, as well as their families and care partners.

Donations of any size will help the APDA Minnesota Chapter continue their critical work. Please consider donation today and be a hero for the local PD community! The more funds they raise, the more people they can help!
