Bobby Gillespie, of the legendary British rock band Primal Scream, and Jehnny Beth (Savages) have teamed up for an unlikely, but surprisingly great, album of country-influenced heartbreak called Utopian Ashes. On paper, it sounds like a mess. In reality, it sounds nuanced and heartfelt.
It's always a good day when there's new Lana Del Rey music. Despite the fact that her last album,Chemtrails Over The Country Club came out just a few short months ago, she's back with a brand new full length album, Blue Banisters.
Technically, the full isn't available until the 4th, but that's ok. Also, once again, it's brilliant.
