Police Warn Fans to 'Stay Away' from 'Mare of Easttown' Filming Locations

Without question, Mare of Easttown has become one of the most critically-acclaimed, bingeworthy shows of 2021.

The HBO series is a riveting dramatic crime drama featuring the truly brilliant Kate Winslet as a detective investigating a murder in a small Pennsylvania town.

It's genuinely great, so it's easy to understand why fans are so very involved in the show. However, some fans don't know where to draw the line.

Recently, police in Pennsylvania have had to warn fans of the show to stop trespassing on private property to take photos of filming locations.

According to local authorities, there have been a string of incidents involving fans trespassing on private property, including the house that served as Kate Winslet's character's home on the show.

According to the home's current occupant:

"We've had a few instances where people have come on to our property -- one late at night to look in our front window. Supposedly, I can only guess to see if it's the same as where they filmed the show."

Really, people?? And in case you thought the cops weren't serious, check this out:
