A Minneapolis business says it will close after 35 years in part due to social unrest and crime in the area.
"Our entire team is saddened to announce the closure of our Uptown, Minneapolis location,"Juut Salon Spa announced Sunday. "It has become more and more evident that Uptown continues to struggle with store closings, social unrest, crime, and street closures."
The spa's statement came after the June 3 fatal police shooting of Winston Boogie Smith Jr., andhours before a car drove into a protest, killing one woman and injuring another person.
