Reading this story, something doesn't add up to me. This all seems so preventable. But who knows. Sad, that's for sure.
A drowning victim in the south metro Saturday night has been identified as a Burnsville man, who was reportedly attempting to save his girlfriend.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 36-year-old Matthew K. Brust, of Burnsville. He died of a freshwater drowning and the manner of death was ruled an accident.
