As the unofficial start of the summer season, the weather heading into Memorial Day Weekend is supposed to be, well, nice.
But for 2021, Minnesotans were greeted Friday morning with "Wait, do we really have to turn the heat back on a week after using the A/C?" weather.
Temperatures across the state overnight were uncomfortably low for this time of year. Much of the southern half of the state was blanketed in the upper 30s or very low 402. Up north, temps dipped well into the 20s in some spots.
