Restaurant Owner In Shakopee Charged With 58 Tax Crimes

The owner of a restaurant in Shakopee has been charged with 58 tax crimes after she allegedly underreported sales and filed fraudulent returns over a period of several years.

Juansheng Lin, of Savage, is the owner of Tokyo Sushi in Shakopee, which she became the sole owner of in 2016.

Charges filed in Ramsey County following an investigation by the Minnesota Department of Revenue allege that Lin underreported the restaurants sales – thus reducing its tax liability – for "multiple months" between April 2015 and November 2019.
