The Salvation Army Food Drive

Join the Salvation Army for their Food Drive to help the Twin Cities community affected by the pandemic. During the pandemic, The Salvation Army Northern Division provided over 5 million meals locally. 460,000 Minnesotans are struggling with hunger, and the Salvation Army needs your help to reach their goal of 2 million pounds of food!

The Salvation Army will be collecting non-perishable food March 1-27, culminating in one final drop-off collection on March 27th. Bring your collected food to Salvation Army headquarters in Roseville on Saturday, March 27th for a special community-wide contactless, drive-through weigh-in event. Safety protocols including masks, distancing and sanitization will be strictly followed. Nonperishable foods can be dropped off March 1 – 27 at any Twin Cities SPIRE Credit Union, Cub Foods, Morrie’s Auto Group or Salvation Army Family Store. To help accomplish their goal, The Salvation Army has invited church and business partners to host collections through their businesses, congregations and social networks. Individuals can help by holding a food drive with their family, friends and neighbors. Monetary donations are also accepted. Each $150 donation will allow us to purchase 120 pounds of food.
