Weather Timeline For Snow, 'Extreme Cold' In Twin Cities

Up to 3 inches of snow could fall in the Twin Cities metro Thursday before the "extreme cold" sets in, according to the National Weather Service. Strong winds will likely create blizzard conditions in parts of the state.

The low on Sunday in the metro will be 14 degrees below zero.
