Best Buy has become the latest company to announce it's halting donations to politicians who voted against the certification of Joe Biden as the next president.
The Richfield-based retailer has said it's suspending contributions to any of the 147 Republicans in the House and Senate who opposed the certification of the election results.
The legislators did so citing unfounded concerns about the validity of the vote, and debunked claims of widespread electoral fraud. These claims, fanned by President Donald Trump, led to the attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday, as senators and representatives met to certify states' results.
