I know closing restaurants sucks. I couldn't agree more. BUT it's also pretty hard to argue that when they close, the numbers drop. That said, if things are going to be closed, I've always said, you HAVE to provide those business owners relief. That's just how it is. No breaks for legislatures. No red tape. No politics. Just get it done.
Anyway.....sounds like we're going to try this again:
Gov. Tim Walz will announce on Wednesday a loosening of restrictions on indoor dining, which has been shut down since Nov. 18 due to COVID-19.
Walz had hinted on New Year's Day that he would announce his decision to the current COVID restrictions this week, and confirmed this in a Monday evening statement via his spokesperson Teddy Tschann.
