No powerhouse snowstorms are in the short-term forecast for Minnesota, but the first flakes of 2021 could fall somewhere in the state by the middle of the week.
"A weak front may bring a chance of light snow and sleet early Monday morning. Another chance of precipitation comes mid-week before a quiet end of the first week of 2021," the Twin Cities office of the National Weather Service said Sunday morning.
