Blackpink Announces 'The Show' Global Livestream Concert Experience

Blackpink have announced a YouTube concert special for the holiday season.

On Wednesday (December 2), the K-pop quartet revealed that they're teaming up with YouTube Music for their first livestream concert event, which is appropriately titled The Show. Taking place two months after the release of The Album, the event will air on December 27 at 12 a.m. ET/December 26 at 9 p.m. PT and see the group perform cuts from the set for the first time. YouTube also makes for a convenient platform for the group as they're the second most-subscribed artist on the streaming platform with almost 54 million subscribers. Oh, and don't forget that they have a number of videos with over 1 billion views on the platform.

"We wanted to end the year with something very special for our Blinks who have been waiting so patiently for us," Blackpink said in a press statement. "We hope everyone can comfortably enjoy our first-ever livestream concert The Show at home and hopefully join in on some special perks we’ve prepared for those who join our channel. Overall we’re super excited to share this fun moment with our Blinks and we can’t wait till The Show."

Blinks can purchase tickets to the event on the group's YouTube channel. Standard ticket packages are priced at $29.99 and includes access to the livestream, rebroadcast and custom emojis. If you want even more, you can purchase the $39.99 plus bundle, which will also give access to behind-the-scenes content.
