In the heart of what's expected to be the worst of the coronavirus pandemic in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz is again scheduled to provide on update Monday afternoon.
Walz held press conferences or joined press calls every day last week. But while last week Walz was stressing the importance of every Minnesotan doing their part to slow the spread of COVID-19, his Monday engagement will be focused on providing hopeful news.
According to a release, Walz will unveil new technology that is available to Minnesotans to help slow the spread of the virus. Details about the technology have not been provided.
