Wanna See What The Mississippi Looked Like Before The Dam?

Next week, people will get the chance to see what the Mississippi River in Minneapolis looked like before the lock and dam was added. 

The Mississippi Park Connection saysthe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will lower the water level on the river immediately below St. Anthony Falls so it can inspect the infrastructure that's normally underwater. 

This will allow people to see what the river looked like without the lock and dam – a portion of the river will return to its natural flow and people will be able to see rapids in the river that was once present from St. Anthony Falls to the Minnesota River.
