Target will go head-to-head with Amazon in the fight for online discount shoppers as it holds its "Deal Days" event to coincide with Prime Day.
The Minneapolis retailer hasconfirmed to MarketWatchthat Deal Days will take place on Oct. 13-14, the same time as Amazon runs its biggest sales promotion of the year.
The pandemic has caused both discount events to be delayed this year. In the past, both were typically held in July.
