Valleyfair has announced that it will stay closed for the rest of 2020 due to the ongoing "challenges surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic."
The Shakopee theme park says that it's taken the decision due to the "diminishing number" of days in its 2020 season, as well as few signs from state leaders as to when it could possibly reopen.
It comes in the same week that another Minnesota theme park, the indoor Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America, announced that it will be reopening but with capacity limited to 250.
