The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has announced the state's first child death from COVID-19.
Per the report, a child between the ages of 0-5 in Clay County is among the four new deaths reported on Monday, which comes after the MDH's daily COVID-19 update release was delayed by an hour.
No details about the child have been released, including whether they had any underlying health conditions that would make them potentially more susceptible to complications.
