With the Minnesota Wild set to begin training camp Monday, the hockey club announced that Dean Evanson has been rewarded with a full-time head coaching job, ultimately removing the interim label that he took on after Bruce Boudreau was fired.
Evason has signed a two-year contract extension that locks him up through the 2021-22 season.
