The plateauing or perhaps even declining trend of the first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in Minnesota continues, with Tuesday's update from the state health department revealing the fewest number of new, single-day cases since late April.
Of the 6,203 diagnostic tests sampled in the latest 24-hour reporting period, 197 returned positive results, eight of which were removed, for an official total of 189. That's the fewest in a single day since April 26.
