MN Farmer Finds Human Remains - Identified As 2019 Car Crash Victim

The remains of a car crash victim from 2019 were recently discovered by a farmer in southeast Minnesota. 
According to the Rice County Sheriff's Office, a farmer who was planting beans in a field about 5 miles east of Northfield found human remains in a grassy area near the field on May 7. 
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains as Manuel Ramirez, 36, of Kenyon, Minnesota. Ramirez had been missing since his unoccupied vehicle was found crashed in a ditch near where his remains were found.
