The ongoing coronavirus pandemic shutdown has caused the Guthrie Theater to cancel more of its production plans.
The acclaimed theater on Friday announced that it's being forced to slash its budget by 60 percent and cut its planned 2020/21 season down from nine plays to just three. That includes the cancelation of all its planned shows in 2020, including its hugely popular annual production ofA Christmas Carol in December.
