Rare Measurable Snow....On Mother's Day!?

I like spreading "One Piece Of Good News" everyday not crap like this, BUT on the bright side, I don't think you'll need to put gas back in the snow blower. That said, this is still ridiculous. LOL. Hopefully, it's just wrong.

Today is May 8. The average temps are supposed to top out around 70 degrees and drop to around 50. But nah, Mother Nature doesn't care and she might give a wicked Mother's Day gift in the form of snow for parts of Minnesota. 
According to the Twin Cities office of the National Weather Service, the forces of nature haven't delivered measurable snow to the Twin Cities on Mother's Day since Harry Truman was president. That could change this year.
