Last week, we reported that a Tampa pastor was refusing to obey the "safer at home" state order by holding mass at The River Church.
An arrest warrant was issued for Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne after the sheriff in Hillsborough County said there were up to 500 people in attendance at Howard-Browne's Sunday services. He turned himself in and was jailed until he posted bail 30 minutes later. He faces misdemeanor charges of unlawful assembly and violation of public health emergency order.
Florida is under the "safer at home" order to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
