The updated figure from the Minnesota Department of Health represents the number of confirmed cases as of 8 p.m. Sunday. It's the biggest single day jump seen since the outbreak began, rising 39 percent in a day.
There has been a single death confirmed so far, with a Ramsey County resident in their 80s dying from the virus on Thursday.
