Science From Home is Fun: 24 Hour Live Stream of Penguins

If your kids are anything like mine, they have already uttered the words, "I'm bored." Well, Kansas City Zoo to the rescue as they now are offering a live stream of their penguin exhibit. FOX4 out of Kansas City reports, "The $15 million exhibit first opened to the public in October 2013. The exhibit contains more than 100,000 gallons of salt water and two ice flake machines to produce three inches of snowfall each day for the adorable penguins."

I checked out these adorable critters, and it is sure to pass the time for your kiddos. Hey, you could even turn it into a project? Maybe have kids who are learning at home do a report on penguins or note the habits and behaviors that they observe.
