As expected, the travel industry has been hit by the effects of Coronavirus. Sun Country Airlines, based in Eagan, has announced they will decrease the number of flights to west coast cities like Phoenix, LA and San Diego.
Those cuts will happen in April and in May, there will be more cuts to east coast destinations like Dallas, Boston and Newark, NJ.
These cuts are a response to what the airline calls "softness in bookings for April and May."
"Our hope is this will be the extent of our schedule changes, but this is a unique situation, so we will continue to closely monitor demand for necessary adjustments," a Sun Country spokesperson told Bring Me The News.
