I had the chance to meet Mr. Peanut, as you can see in my photo, and he was a real charmer. He's so handsome and he is such a gentleman. But, according to this commercial and Youtube video, Mr. Peanut has died. It was quite a selfless act, which is right in character for him. CNBC is reporting here, that you will be able to view Mr. Peanut's funeral during the third quarter of the Super Bowl. I believe this to all to be a publicity stunt and that there is NO WAY that Planters has killed off their 104 year old mascot. But, there's a chance I'm still in the denial stage of my grief. I guess we will all find out on February 2nd.
