Why do the Goo Goo Dolls Always Remind Me of Dawson's Creek?

Maybe it's my age, but every time I hear a Goo Goo Dolls song play on Cities 97.1 an image from Dawson's Creek pops immediately into my head. It's usually Dawson crying, or Joey and Pacey fighting or kissing. I guess they did a brilliant job marketing to me, because the two will be forever linked in my brain. The Goo Goo Dolls were featured on the Dawson's Creek Soundtrack in 1998 and many montages have been created. You're going to LOVE this one about Joey and Pacey's up and down love story set, of course, to the Goo Goo Dolls song "Better Days". In case you're feeling nostaligic, full episodes of Dawson's Creek are now streaming on Hulu.
