"Lizzie McGuire" Revival Production Halted After Show Creator Quits

If you were excited for the revival of Lizzie McGuire, you just might be out of luck.

After shooting just two episodes, the show creator, Terri Minsky, has stepped down from production. While production was temporarily halted, Disney+ released a statement:

"Fans have a sentimental attachment to Lizzie McGuire and high expectations for a new series," a Disney spokesperson told Variety. "After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different direction and are putting a new lens on the series."

....YIKES. Lets hope they get this worked out quick
