The Minnesota National Guard has confirmed that it lost contact with a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that departed from St. Cloud Thursday afternoon.
According to the St. Cloud Times, emergency scanner audio indicates that the helicopter took off around 1:55 p.m. and called mayday approximately nine minutes later.
It's not yet clear what happened to the chopper, but the Minnesota National Guard has confirmed that it lost contact with it around 2 p.m.
