Police are investigating an incident in which a woman was pistol whipped during a home invasion in south Minneapolis' Kingfield neighborhood.
According to the Star Tribune, the incident occurred Monday just after 11 a.m. Police say an armed man assaulted the woman who walked in on him while he was burglarizing the home in the 4200 block of Blaisdell Avenue.
The victim was able to escape out the back door. She was in the alley when a relative showed up and called 911.
