It seems Elon Musk has made headlines again...this time in support of planting more trees. Elon Musk has donated $1 million to a tree-planting charity drive that has been organised by YouTubers and Fortnite. According to IGN.com, The TeamTrees charity drive was organised by YouTuber MrBeast, who aims to help the Arbor Day Foundation plant 20 million trees, with each tree funded by a dollar donation. Since the drive’s launch, many other online community members have joined in, including Fortnite streamers such as Loserfruit. I love those youtube streamer names.
IGN.com again stated, True to his word, Elon Musk then donated $1,000,000 to TeamTrees, accompanied by the message “For Treebeard”, in reference to The Lord of the Rings’ famous tree-like character. Musk has also changed his Twitter name to Treelon and his avatar to an image of a forest. Say what you want about Elon, the guy is funny.
